Cookies Notice

1. What cookies are

Cookies are small pieces of data a website stores in your browser. Store uses a deliberately small set of first-party cookies and no third-party advertising trackers. This notice lists every cookie the platform sets and why.

2. Cookies the platform sets

The Store platform sets the following cookies:

• bs_session — signed, httpOnly, Secure, SameSite=Lax session cookie used to keep merchants and store customers signed in. Contains an HMAC-signed payload with user identity and tokens; never readable by JavaScript; expires after 7 days or on logout;
• Analytics visitor identifier — a first-party, non-tracking id stored in browser storage that lets a store count visitors and sessions without building a cross-site profile.

3. Cookies set on merchant storefronts

Storefronts hosted on Store keep the shopping cart in the browser (local storage) so it survives page changes, and may set theme preference storage for dark/light mode. Merchants do not load third-party ad networks or cross-site trackers through platform surfaces.

4. What we do not use

No third-party advertising cookies, no cross-site retargeting pixels, no fingerprinting. Payment providers set their own cookies only on their own hosted payment pages, under their own policies.

5. Managing cookies

You can clear or block cookies in your browser settings at any time. Blocking the session cookie means you cannot sign in to a merchant dashboard or customer account, but public storefront browsing and checkout will continue to work.

6. Changes

If the cookie set changes materially, this notice is updated with a new last-updated date before the change ships.
